The Sacrament of Marriage is a covenant which God establishes between a man and a woman for a partnership of their whole lives.

Through their marriage, they provide what is good for their relationship and open themselves to the procreation and education of children. This marriage bond is to help one another to attain holiness in their married life and form their children in the Christian life.

Marriage Requirements

The marriage preparation begins once the couple has contacted the office and a date has been set and approved by the Pastor.

Couples Must:

• Be active registered members of Our Lady of Lourdes.
• Complete Marriage Contact form with office staff (in-person or by phone).
• Contact the Church of Baptism and request a currently issued Baptism certificate with notations as well as the Confirmation certificate.
• Provide a License or Certificate of Civil Marriage.
• Complete Marriage Program.
• Complete Natural Family Planning Online Course.
• Meet with Clergy.
• Provide full names of Witnesses.
• Couples may choose to marry on a Friday or Saturday; the fee is $200.00
• Arrangement for Decorations-optional ( Please contact the office for more information)

Other Information:

• If previously married (church or civilly) – an annulment process must be initiated before a wedding date can be approved. Please contact us to schedule an appointment with one of our Deacons. A certified & true divorce decree, a certified and true civil marriage license, and a currently issued Baptism certificate (within the last 6 months) will be required for this process.

El Sacramento del Matrimonio es una alianza que Dios establece entre un hombre y una mujer para una unión de toda su vida.

A través de su matrimonio aportan lo bueno para su relación y se abren a la procreación y educación de los hijos. Este vínculo matrimonial es para ayudarse unos a otros a alcanzar la santidad en su vida matrimonial y formar a sus hijos en la vida cristiana.

Requisitos para Matrimonio

La preparación matrimonial comienza una vez que la pareja se ha comunicado con la oficina y el Pastor ha fijado y aprobado una fecha.

 Las parejas deben: 

• Ser miembros activos registrados de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes.
• Llenar el formulario de contacto matrimonial con el personal de la oficina (en persona o por teléfono).
• Comunicarse con la Iglesia del Bautismo y solicitar un certificado de Bautismo actualizado con anotaciones, junto con el certificado de Confirmación.
• Proporcionar Licencia o Certificado de Matrimonio Civil.
• Asistir a programa de Matrimonio
• Asistir al curso en línea de Planificación Familiar Natural.
• Reunirse con el Clero.
• Proporcionar los nombres completos de los Testigos.
• Las parejas pueden elegir casarse un viernes o un sábado; la tarifa es de $200.
• Arreglo para decoraciones es opcional (comuníquese con la oficina para obtener más información) 

            Otra información: 

• Si estuvo casado anteriormente (por la iglesia o por lo civil), se debe iniciar un proceso de anulación antes de que se pueda aprobar la fecha de la boda. Comuníquese con nosotros para programar una cita con uno de nuestros diáconos. Para este proceso se requiere un certificado de divorcio oficial, una licencia de matrimonio civil certificada y verdadera y un certificado de bautismo emitido actualmente (dentro de los últimos 6 meses).
