On the weekend of August 29–30, our parish will take up a special second collection to support both Belmont Abbey College and The Catholic University of America, with undesignated gifts shared equally between the two institutions. As the only Catholic college serving the Carolinas and neighboring states, Belmont Abbey College has been forming faithful Catholic leaders for 150 years, and this year's collection will help establish an endowment to provide tuition assistance for Catholic students from the Diocese of Charlotte. Thank you for your prayerful generosity in supporting both our local Catholic college and the national university of the Catholic Church in the United States.
